Series History
- This will be the 17th and 18th meetings between the Trojans and the Mavericks in a series that dates back to 2004.
- UTA won the first two meetings but Little Rock has won 11 of the last 14 meetings since.
- Eight of the last 10 meetings have been decided by less than 10 points with five of those 10 being decided by one possession (four points or less).
- UTA's win in Little Rock last season ended a five-game home winning streak in the series for the Trojans.

Five Things to Know
- Twenty Since Last Tip
Little Rock is FINALLY back in action this weekend as the Trojans will have gone 20 days since their last game (Jan. 2 at UT Arlington) due to COVID protocols. But Little Rock will have to get ready in a hurry because Friday's game against the Mavs will kick off a stretch that has the Trojans playing five games in nine days.
- We Meet Again
It's been three weeks since Little Rock last hit the hardwood and when the Trojans return to the court, they will face a familiar opponent. Following this weekend's games, Little Rock will have (hopefully) played four Sun Belt games this year with all four against UT Arlington.
- Nothing But Net
This weekend's series between Little Rock and UT Arlington will be a meeting of two of the top four Sun Belt teams in the NET rankings. Little Rock leads the Sun Belt with a NET ranking of 125 while UT Arlington comes in at 198 in the NET rankings, fourth among Sun Belt programs.
- Trojans Pull the Net
Little Rock has the league's highest NET rating because the Trojans haven't backed down from any challenging opponents. The Trojans lead the Sun Belt with three games against NET Top 25 opponents this season while no other Sun Belt teams have played more than one. Moreover, Georgia State is the only other Sun Belt team to play multiple games (2) against NET Top 50 opponents while Little Rock still leads the way with three such opponents.
- Trojans Dominate the Glass
Little Rock has been strong on the glass more than just against the Aggies. Entering this game, Trojan opponents have managed just 32.4 rebounds per game, a number that puts the Trojans ranked 30th in the nation in preventing rebounds. That includes an average of 9.3 offensive rebounds per game, ranking the Trojans 29th nationally as well as ranking Little Rock 62nd nationally as opponents have just a 27.0% offensive rebound rate (percentage of offensive rebound opportunities in which they actually got an offensive rebound).
