Series History
- This will be the 33rd and 34th meetings between Little Rock and ULM and the first time ULM is visiting Little Rock since 2019.
- Little Rock has a 29-3 all-time lead in the series. The Trojans have won 16 straight over the Warhawks and have 13 consecutive home wins over ULM.
- The Warhawks have not scored more than 52 points in its current eight-game losing streak this season. That works out well because in Little Rock's current 16-game winning streak over ULM, the Warhawks are only averaging 45.9 points per game.
Â
Five Things to Know
- Welcome Back
It's been two years since ULM last visited the Jack Stephens Center as Friday marks their first visit to Little Rock since Jan. 3, 2019. The Warhawks are looking for their first win over Little Rock wicn 2012 and their first win in Little Rock since Dec. 18, 2005. The Trojans enter the weekend with a 16-game winning streak against the Warhawks.
- Welcome Back, Coach Williams
There will be a familiar face on the visitors bench this weekend at the Jack Stephens Center as ULM Head Coach Brooks Donald Williams returns to Little Rock. A former assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for the Trojans from 2000-03, Williams is making her first return to Little Rock since rejoining the Sun Belt.
- Offensive Glass
Krystan Vornes is becoming a relentless worker in the paint. The Trojan senior enters this weekend's play ranked 31st in the nation with 3.8 offensive rebounds per game while her 46 offensive rebounds this season ranks her 24th nationally. Her offensive rebound percentage - which is the percentage of offensive rebound opportunities actually rebounded - of 15.0% ranks 75th in the nation.
- Double Trouble
Krystan Vornes is truly making the most of her senior year and is becoming a cause for concern for Little Rock opponents. With her engine kicked into high gear in her final season, Vornes has churned out five double-doubles this season. This is notable as Vornes had not recorded a double-double prior to this season. It is also notable as she ranks 42nd in the nation and second in the Sun Belt with her trio of double-doubles. Only Alexus Dye (Troy) has more among Sun Belt players.
- Anti-Theft Device
Little Rock's style of play early on this season has been its own anti-theft device. Trojan opponents have recorded just 5.3 steals per game, a low rate that ranks Little Rock 13th nationally. Additionally, Little Rock opponents have just a 6.8% steal rate (percentage of Trojan possessions where the ball was stolen), a mark that ranks 30th in the country.
