Three Things to Know
- Rivalry Renewed
The longest and most-played rivalry among any of the state's Division I institutions gets renewed Tuesday evening when Little Rock plays host to Arkansas State Tuesday night in the 68th meeting between the two programs.
- Closing the Homestand
Tuesday's match marks the third and final match of this current homestand, which also marks the longest homestand the Trojans will have this season. Tuesday is also the continuation of Rocktoberfest, a monthlong celebration of Little Rock Volleyball at the Jack Stephens Center.
- Going for a Milestone Win
Little Rock's Van Compton - the Sun Belt's All-Time Winningest Head Coach - is on the precipice of yet another milestone. With one more win, Compton will record her 550th career win as head coach of the Trojans. There's no doubt "Queen Comp" is at the top of the class when it comes to coaching. That's quite notable in the challenging Sun Belt as the next winningest coach, Jozsef Foreman of Costal Carolina, has just 253 wins entering this weekend.
