PITTSBURG, Kan. – Mia Dunning broke her own school record in the weight throw by nearly a foot, highlighting Little Rock's action at the Crimson & Gold Invitational hosted by Pittsburg State Saturday afternoon.

Dunning's throw of 57-11 (17.65m) topped her own school record by 11 inches as she finished third in the weight throw.
Allison Stigarll registered a throw of 40-9 (12.42m) to record the fifth-best mark in school history while
DeVonn Bivens' throw of 38-10 (11.84m) is the sixth-best in school history.

Little Rock was also led in the shot put by Dunning, who set a new personal best throw and registered the fifth-best throw in school history. Her mark of 43-3 (13.18m) placed her fifth in the meet and she was followed by Aaliyah Mathis, who finished sixth in the meet with a mark of 42-6 (12.95m), the sixth-best throw in school history.
Janae Largins recorded the 10
th-best mark in school history with a throw of 38-7.25 (11.78m) as she placed 15
th in the meet.

On the men's side,
Casey Griffin posted the seventh-best throw in school history in both the weight throw and the shot put. His throw of 43-6 (13.26m) placed him 14
th in the shot put while his mark of 43-4 (14.21m) placed him 18
th in the weight throw.
Isaiah Parker led the Trojans in the weight throw, placing ninth with a mark of 53-2 (16.22m).

Little Rock returns to action on Jan. 14, 2022 when the Trojans head to Fayetteville, Arkansas for the Arkansas Invitational.
