Little Rock Dispatches of UA-Pine Bluff, Sweeps Through Weekend

Laure Jansen serves up five of the team's 10 aces

Box Score BEAUMONT, Texas – Little Rock hit a season-high .378, served up a season-high 10 aces and registered a straight-set win over UA-Pine Bluff to win the Lamar Invitational Saturday.
 
The Trojans (6-3) won all three matches at the tournament in straight sets and posted a total of 25 service aces in the weekend.
 
Laure Jansen led the Trojans with 11 kills and a career-high five aces in the match. She hit a career-high .611 with no errors (11-0-18).
 
Laura Jansen put down nine kills with a .444 mark while tallying nine digs and four blocks.
 
Seven different Little Rock players hit .250 or better in the match with six different Trojans recording at least one block.
 
UA-Pine Bluff (0-9) was led by Maria Ramos' 10 kills.
 
Little Rock returns to action next weekend at the Louisiana Tech Invitational where the Trojans are scheduled to face Louisiana Tech, New Orleans and Southern.
