CONWAY, Ark. – Three Little Rock players posted double-digit kills but Missouri State slipped past the Trojans in three close sets Saturday in Conway.
 
Set scores were 25-21, 25-18 and 25-20.
 
Little Rock (3-3) was led by 
Laura Jansen's 13 kills while 
Nicole Medlin posted 10 kills and an impressive .412 hitting percentage, the second time this season she has hit over .400. 
Laure Jansen added 11 kills.
 
Missouri State (4-2) was led by Manuela Ibarguen's 11 kills and .308 hitting percentage while Teagan Polcovich registered 19 digs.
 
The Trojans had three service aces in the match – including 
Laure Jansen for the first point of the match – but Little Rock also served up six service errors. The Bears relied on a strong serving game with six aces and just four errors.
 
Missouri State also recorded a 10-4 advantage in total blocks.
 
Little Rock returns to action next weekend in Beaumont, Texas as the Trojans will face Northwestern State, Lamar and Arkansas-Pine Bluff in the Lamar Invitational.

	- Laura Jansen led the Trojans with five kills in the first set while Nicole Medlin had four kills and a .500 percentage.
- Little Rock was out-blocked, 3-1, in the first set, then 5-1 in the second set.
- Missouri State used an 8-1 run to take the lead in the second set, pulling ahead 16-11. The Bears would not relinquish the lead after that point.
- Leigh Maher recorded nine digs in each of the first and third sets.
- Laure Jansen led Little Rock with four kills in the third set.
