Trojan Volleyball to Wrap Up Season in Nashville

Little Rock plays at Tennessee State Friday and Saturday

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Little Rock Volleyball will wrap up the 2022 season in Nashville with a two-game series at Tennessee State starting Friday evening.

  1. Top 10
    Little Rock enters this weekend's action ranked 10th in the nation in total blocks, having accumulated 260.5 total team blocks so far. That mark ranks second in the OVC behind this weekend's opponent, Tennessee State, who has 263 blocks to their credit.
  2. Powerful 1-2 Punch
    Want to know why the Trojans are ranked so highly in blocks? It's because of the powerful 1-2 punch Little Rock has at the net. Zanobia Willis (119 total blocks) and Daedrianna Cail (114 total blocks) rank first and second, respectively, in the OVC in blocks this season. Willis ranks 27th nationally while Cail ranks 39th in the nation.
  3. Swan Song
    This weekend's action will mark the final weekend of play for the Trojans this season. Little Rock can play spoiler to Tennessee State as the Tigers are looking to move as high as the top half of the conference standings.
