Daedrianna Cail Named Second Team All-OVC

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Little Rock freshman middle blocker Daedrianna Cail was honored by the Ohio Valley Conference Wednesday evening as she was named to the league's all-conference second team.
 
Cail finished her rookie campaign with 211 kills, a .266 hitting percentage, a team-leading 27 service aces and 118 total blocks, including a team-best 17 solo blocks. Her 118 total blocks ranks 57^th nationally and third in the OVC at the end of the regular season while her 1.04 blocks per set ranks 172^nd nationally and sixth in the league.
 
She also finished the regular season ranked ninth in the conference with a .266 hitting percentage while her 17 block solos ranked third in the league.
 
This marks the 56^th all-conference honor overall for the Little Rock program and the first since joining the Ohio Valley Conference at the beginning of the season.
