LITTLE ROCK – Due to a new Ohio Valley Conference scheduling bylaw, Little Rock's women and men basketball doubleheader against Lindenwood originally scheduled for Thursday, January 5 has been moved to Wednesday, January 4. Tip times will remain the same with the Trojan women tipping at 5 p.m. at the Jack Stephens Center, followed by the men at 7:30 p.m.
The change comes with a new OVC scheduling bylaw regarding split home-and-away weekends. Lindenwood plays at Little Rock to start the week, then returns home to play Tennessee State Saturday in St. Charles, Missouri. Being the Lions will have to travel more than 350 miles following the game, the new bylaw moves the games up a day to allow more travel time for student-athlete welfare.
Tickets already purchased for the doubleheader will be honored on Wednesday, January 4. The change will not affect Little Rock's doubleheader against Southeast Missouri on Saturday, January 7, beginning with the women's game at 1 p.m. For any questions regarding tickets, please contact the Trojan Ticket Office at 501-916-3257.
