BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Little Rock track and field claimed a pair of gold medals and two school records were broken as the Trojans wrapped up the regular season at the South Alabama-hosted Jaguar Invitational at the Birmingham CrossPlex Sunday.

Ryan Curington claimed gold with the third-best long jump in school history, winning the event with a mark of 24-0.75 (7.33m). His jump moves him into a third place ranking in the Sun Belt this season.

The women's 4x400m relay team of
Helensia Green,
Teresa Thomas,
KaNeisha Jackson and
Zoa Adams ran a winning time of 3:50.39, recording the fifth-fastest relay time in school history. That marks the fastest 4x400m relay time a Trojan quartet has recorded sine 2017.

Breya Clark continued her season-long trend of breaking school records. This time, she broke her own. Clark jumped 40-3.25 (12.27m) in the triple jump Sunday to break her own school record and to become the first Trojan woman to jump more than 40 feet. Her performance moves her into fourth place in the Sun Belt this season. Clark also finished fourth in the high jump as she cleared 5-5.25 (1.66m) for the second-best mark in school history while also jumping 17-1.75 (5.53m) in the long jump to place seventh.

Hunter Johnson set a new school record in the men's pole vault as he cleared 15-7.75 (4.77m) to place seventh.

Isaiah Parker's weight throw mark of 55-5 (16.89m) registered as the third-best throw in school history and a new personal best mark. That throw moves him into sixth place in this year's Sun Belt performer's list.

Landri Schreier ran the eighth-fastest 60m dash time in school history, clocking 7.78 to finish 14
th.
Gabby Ayiteyfio posted a time of 9.36 in the 60m hurdles, marking the fifth-fastest time in school history.

Moving up in the Sun Belt rankings is pivotal at this point as this concluded the regular season for Little Rock. Next up for the Trojans will be the 2022 Sun Belt Indoor Championships, set for Feb. 21-22 in Birmingham.
