AUSTIN, Texas – Little Rock's two relay teams entered their names into the school record books as speed reigned supreme Friday at the Texas Relays.

The men's 4x100m relay's time of 40.30 ranks as the third best mark in school history while the women's 4x400m relay clocked 3:45.08, a time that ranks No. 6 in school history.

Taveion Neal,
Troy McKnight,
Andre Dibbles and
Cameron Jackson ran 40.30 to finish second in the race, posting the third-fastest time in school history. The relay team improved upon its season-best time by a half-second since last week's Richard Martin Jr Invitational.

McKnight came back later in the day and ran 10.55 in the 100m dash, placing 36
th. Also in the men's action,
Cogan DeRousselle ran 15.07 in the 110m hurdles to finish 34
th.

On the women's side, the quartet of
Zoa Adams,
Helensia Green,
KaNeisha Jackson and
Teresa Thomas ran the sixth-fastest 4x400m relay time in school history with a mark of 3:45.08. That is the fastest time a Trojan 4x400m relay team has ran since 2018 and is the second-fastest time of any Sun Belt relay team so far this season.

Thomas and Adams had already set the standard for speed at Mike A. Myers Stadium earlier in the day in the 100m dash. Thomas ran the 10
th-fastest 100m dash time in school history, clocking 12.08 to finish 34
th overall while
Zoa Adams ran 12.39 to finish 54
th.
