DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Little Rock is tied for ninth after the opening round of the 2022 Sun Belt Women's Golf Championship at LPGA International. The Trojans notched an 18-over 306 in round one, sitting in an eight-team log jam in which six shots separate fifth from 11th.

The Trojan's 306 was led by opening round 3-over 75s from both
Agatha Alesson and
Katja Mueller as the duo is tied for 14th in the individual standings. Both players went even over the final 11 holes, bouncing back from a 3-over the first seven.
Anna Dawson sits third among the Trojan scorecard with a 4-over 77, tied for 34th individually with a 5-over 77.
Viktoria Krnacova and
Sydney Scraba both posted a 7-over 79 over the opening 18 holes, tied for 44th individually.
The Trojans head into Monday's second round tied with South Alabama in a tie for second, one shot better than Georgia State's 19-over 307. Little Rock is one shot back of eighth-place Texas State (17-over 305) and three behind both ULM and Coastal Carolina (15-over 303), tied for sixth.
Georgia Southern holds the team lead after 18 holes at 6-over 294, three shots better than both Arkansas State and UT Arlington (9-over 297) in second. Troy (10-over 298) is fourth with App State (13-over 301) rounding out the top-five.
Little Rock will tee off in wave two from hole 10 Monday, starting at 7:45 a.m. CT with Scraba and leading up to Mueller at 8:21 a.m. CT. The Trojans will play with Coastal Carolina and Texas State in the second round groupings with live coverage available on ESPN+.
