Little Rock's Game at Southern Indiana January 12 Selected as OVC Wild Card

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Little Rock's game at Southern Indiana on Thursday, January 12, has been chosen as the second Ohio Valley Conference Wild Card selection for the season. The game against the Screaming Eagles will be broadcast linearly on ESPNU, tipping at 8 p.m.
 
This season the OVC is utilizing a Wild Card selection process to determine the linear broadcasts, with selections determined and announced approximate two weeks before the
competition date to ensure the best matchups. Thursday's game will pit two of the league's newest members against each other, further introducing both of them to the conference.

The full schedule includes nine total men's basketball games (six regular season contests and three OVC Tournament games) that will appear on one of the linear networks during the season. Four of the regular season matchups and the OVC Tournament semifinals will air on ESPNU, two games will air on ESPNews and the OVC Tournament championship game will air on ESPN2.
 
Little Rock is preparing for a pair of games at the Jack Stephens Center this week, beginning with a doubleheader against Lindenwood on Wednesday, January 4. The Trojan women tip at 5 p.m., followed by the men at 7:30 p.m. as a temporary court has been installed at the Jack Stephens Center, allowing Little Rock to play the remainder of its home schedule in its home arena.
