Game Notes Little Rock | Lindenwood | OVC
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Neither rain nor sleet nor flood of winter…. Can keep the Trojans from playing basketball. And Little Rock will return to the Jack Stephens Center with a temporary court in place to host Lindenwood Wednesday at 5 p.m.

Wednesday's contest will air live on ESPN+ with Kyle Deckelbaum (play-by-play) and Dorian Craft (analyst) calling the action while Trey Schaap will have the call on the Little Rock Sports Network (920 AM The Sports Animal).

Series History
  • This is the first time the two teams will meet on the hardwood.
  • Little Rock and Lindenwood are both new to the OVC this season.

Five Things to Know
  1. How About Three?
Little Rock can start league play 3-0 for the first time since the 2017-18 season if the Trojans can put together a win on Wednesday. The Maroon and Silver have won back-to-back games for the first time this season and now return to a slightly modified Jack Stephens Center in an attempt to make it three in a row. Little Rock opened the 2017-18 season with 12 consecutive league wins.
  2. Back in the Jack
After a brief break due to a water coil bursting and flooding the court on Dec. 23, the Trojans are returning to the Jack Stephens Center and Joe Foley Court on Wednesday when Little Rock hosts Lindenwood. The two newbies of the OVC will battle for the first time in program history. Little Rock only missed one game at home due to the water issues, playing their Dec. 29 OVC debut at Simmons Bank Arena in North Little Rock.
  3. Anchors Aweigh
Little Rock's temporary floor for the remainder of the 2022-23 season has seen a seafaring way of life before docking in the Capital City. The floor was previously used on the USS Abraham Lincoln docked in San Diego where Michigan State and Gonzaga played in the 2022 Armed Forces Classic on Nov. 11, 2022. No. 2 Gonzaga won the game, 64-63. Little Rock officials are happy the court has experience staying above water.
  4. Ring In the New Year the Right Way
The Trojans know all about how to celebrate the new year. Little Rock has claimed a win in its first game of a new calendar year for six consecutive years and a win on Wednesday would extend that streak to seven.
  5. She's Back!
Trojan fans were treated to a sight for sore eyes on Dec. 29 when Sali Kourouma entered the game following the first media timeout. That marked Kourouma's first appearance in a game this season after she missed the entirety of the non-conference schedule after being unable to obtain her visa to enter the United States from her native Mali. Kourouma, whose 18.4 ppg last year ranks third in school history in a single season, scored a game-high 14 points and grabbed five rebounds in her season opener.
