Trojans host Tennessee State this weekend looking to stop skid

Little Rock will look to put the brakes on a three-game skid this weekend when the Trojans host Tennessee State on Friday and Saturday at the Jack Stephens Center. Friday's match is scheduled for 6 pm and the Saturday matinee will begin at 2 pm. Both matches can be seen on ESPN+ and live stats are available at LRTrojans.com.
 
MATCH NOTES
 
The Trojans (4-14 overall, 1-6 OVC) are three games out of the eighth position in the conference standings, and need to take advantage of home court over the weekend against a Tennessee State team carrying a 6-game losing streak and a 2-16 overall record after winning the conference tournament a season ago. The Tigers are 2-6 in the OVC and 2-4 on the road.
 
SERIES HISTORY
Tennessee State leads the overall series, 2-0 after sweeping both matches in conference play last season. The Tigers won 3-0 and 3-1 last year in Nashville, Tenn., despite double-digit kills in both matches from Daedrianna Cail.
