The Little Rock women's basketball team fell behind by double digits early in Saturday's non-conference tilt with Kansas State, and the visiting Wildcats rode that momentum to a 77-39 victory over the Trojans at the Jack Stephens Center. Little Rock (0-2) will have a short turnaround before their next contest, a Tuesday night trip to Fayetteville to take on Arkansas (2-0) at 7 pm.

Jaiyah Harris-Smith – trailed by 12 at the end of one frame and 30 at intermission. Kansas State shot 56 percent from the floor in the first half, compared to just 24 percent for Little Rock.
Faith Lee led the Trojans in scoring for the second time this season, dropping 15 points to go with five rebounds.
Jordan Holman added 13 points and
Camryn James had six rebounds on her first time as a starter for Little Rock.
Kansas State never trailed in the game, closed the first half with a 24-3 run and led by as many as 40 in the fourth period. Ayoka Lee led the Wildcats with 32 points and 10 rebounds on 13-of-16 shooting from the floor. Little Rock put together a 10-0 run in the third period to get within 23 points at 53-30, but the Trojans closed out the game shooting just 14 percent (2-of-14) in the fourth quarter for a five-point period.
Following Tuesday's road game at Arkansas, the Trojans return home to host Alabama on Nov. 19 at 1 pm.
