LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Two hot teams collide at the Jack Stephens Center Thursday morning as Little Rock hosts Morehead State with an 11:30 a.m. tip-off for the Trojans' annual School Day game.
Little Rock, which has won six straight, will look to prevent an upset as they host Morehead State, winners of two of their last three, including a 70-68 win over Tennessee Tech.
Season ticket members are invited to sit on in the Coaches Row, Baseline Club and Courtside seats for the game. Thursday's contest will air on ESPN+ with Kyle Deckelbaum (play-by-play) and Dorian Craft (analyst) calling the action while Trey Schaap will broadcast the game on the Little Rock Sports Newtork (920 AM The Sports Animal).

Five Things to Know
- Back to School
Thursday's game against Morehead State marks the fourth "School Day" game and the Trojans are looking for a better learning experience than in the couple attempts. Little Rock is 1-2 all-time in School Day games. The last win came in the first ever School Day in 2019, an 80-51 victory over Georgia Southern. The past two games came against Texas State in a pair of close losses. A win Thursday would bring the Trojans back to .500 in School Day games.
- Look at Me, I'm Sandra Dee
Morehead State's Sandra Lin enters Thursday's game leading the Ohio Valley Conference with 125 total assists on the season, averaging 5.43 per game. In fact, she has recorded at least five assists in six of her past seven games. Her ability to feed her teammates will be put to the test Thursday when she faces Little Rock's vaunted defense and a squad that is allowing just 8.4 assists per game this season, a mark that ranks fourth in the nation. Lin is talented, however, as she is one of the only three players to have recorded five or more assists against Little Rock thsi season.
- Mais Oui!
You wouldn't think the Jack Stephens Center would be the place to go this week to see multiple French players in the gym, mais oui! Morehead State is led by 5-foot-10 guard Melissa Secchiaroli (Sorgues, France) and 6-foot-1 forward Sophbie Benharouga (Grenoble, France) while on Little Rock's sideline will be 5-foot-9 guard Britney Mapang (Paris, France), although she is redshirting this season. Likely joining in any conversation with those three could be Little Rock 5-foot-11 forward Sali Kourouma (Kati, Mali), who is fluent in French.
- Four Quarters
Entering this game, Little Rock's defense has been so suffocating that the Trojans have limited opponents to just four points in a single quarter on THREE separate occasions and even more impressively, all three occasions have come on the road. Little Rock held Southern Indiana to just four points in the fourth quarter as the Trojans rallied for a 47-44 win in Evansville then limited Southeast Missouri to four points in both the second and fourth quarters on Feb. 2 in Cape Girardeau.
- All The Single Ladies
But perhaps that previous note isn't surprising. Afterall, Little Rock's defense has kept Trojan opponent scoring in the single digits in a quarter on 25 separate occasions this season with Texas A&M (Dec. 6) and Tennessee State (Jan. 21) not able to reach double digits in three of the four quarters against Little Rock.
