LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Trojans will continue their current road trip with a trip down to Monroe, Louisiana to play against ULM on Tuesday before the Warhawks make the trip up to the capital city in a couple of weeks to complete the home and home series. Tuesday's game is slated for a 4 p.m. first pitch at Lou St. Amant Field.

Last Time Out
Little Rock will look to put a tough weekend behind them with this trip to ULM. Last weekend the Trojans were swept during a visit to the reigning Ohio Valley Conference champion Southeast Missouri State. The weekend began with a pair of close games on Saturday after Friday's matchup was delayed due to severe weather. The Trojans dropped game one by a score of 4-3 in a closely contested pitcher's duel. Little Rock was able to scratch two runs in the ninth inning but came up short, stranding the tying run to end the game. Game two was a similar story and one that went to extra innings, but ultimately the Trojans fell by one run yet again in the 6-5 contest. Senior
Tyler Williams hit for the cycle across the two games, hitting a single and triple in the first game before doubling and homering in game two. Errors cost the Trojans in the doubleheader as just two of SEMO's 10 runs on the afternoon were earned. Little Rock battled back from an early deficit on Sunday to bring the game to 6-4 through six full innings. However, late runs proved costly, and the game ended via run rule in the eighth inning at a score of 17-6. Williams picked up another three hits in Sunday's matchup including his second homerun on the weekend and fourth of the season.

Scouting the Warhawks
Louisiana Monroe enters Tuesday with an overall record of 10-19 to go along with a 1-8 record in the Sun Belt. The Warhawks are coming off of a weekend that saw them lose two of three games at home against Marshall with the lone win coming on Saturday in extra innings. Little Rock and ULM have played several common opponents this season in Bradley, Grambling, Memphis, Northwestern State, and Central Arkansas. Against these opponents the Trojans hold a 6-5 record to the Warhawks 5-3 mark versus the programs. ULM currently ranks near the bottom of the Sun Belt in several offensive categories including team batting average (.250), on base percentage (.344), and homeruns (15) through 29 games so far this season. Shawn Weatherbee has been the leader at the plate for the Warhawks. So far this season he is hitting at a mark of .290 with 31 hits and is getting on base in a variety of ways as he has amassed an impressive 18 hit by pitch and stolen eight bases on 10 attempts. ULM sits near the middle of the Sun Belt in most pitching statistics with a team ERA of 5.54 and an opponent batting average of .265. Nicholas Judice has been impressive out of the bullpen thus far. The junior right-hander has an ERA of 3.33 in 12 appearances with 27 innings pitched. He has a high strikeout rate with 35 so far this season and is limiting the free passes, walking just eight. Opposing hitters are batting just .200 off of the bullpen arm this year.

Series History
Little Rock and ULM have quite the series history having played as conference opponents for many years. Last season the Trojans took all three games from the Warhawks in a series played at Gary Hogan Field with
Noah Dickerson ending the most recent matchup hitting a walkoff double for a 7-6 Little Rock win. Though ULM holds the all-time series with 49 wins to 39 losses, Little Rock has come out victorious in nine of the previous 12 matchups dating back to 2018. The home team has typically been very successful in the history between these two programs, the Trojans are 27-11 when playing at Gary Hogan Field versus 12-38 in games played in Monroe.

Three Things to Know
- Trojan center fielder Tyler Williams is currently riding an eight game hit streak to go along with a five game multi-hit streak and has elevated his batting average to .370 over the past couple of weeks. Williams currently leads the OVC in hits and total bases in conference play and is tied for the league lead in homeruns through the first two weekends with three.
- Sophomore Preston Davis is one of two OVC pitchers that has not allowed an earned run to cross the plate in conference play. Davis has thrown 11.1 innings in two starts and opponents are hitting just .182 off the right-hander. The Texarkana, Texas native has collected 13 strikeouts to just three walks in his past two starts.
- Little Rock continues to swing the bat with impressive power as the Trojans have clubbed 32 homeruns this season as Nico Baumbach and Skyler Trevino lead the way with nine each. Last weekend the Maroon and Silver hit five homers including four on Sunday alone, going back to back twice in the game.
