MARTIN, Ten.- Trojans add a point follwing a 1-1 draw against UT Martin.
What Happened
The Trojans saw another hard fought battle this time against UT Martin. Neither side was able to find the net in the first half, as the two sides held strong defensively. The Skyhawks out shot the Trojans 7-4 heading into half.
Bronte Peel,
Amaya Arias,
Abbie Smith, and
Mykena Turner all recorded shots.
Peyton Urban notched two saves.
In the second half, the Skyhawks found the net first as Peyton Cook scored in the 58
th minute. UT Martin would lead for all of three minutes as
Mykena Turner hits the equalizer in the 61
st minute rebounding her own shot off of a corner kick.
The remainder of the game was a back and forth battle with no team gaining the upper hand.
What's Next
Little Rock will have this week off to rest and recoup and will return to action Sunday to host Lindenwood. Kickoff will commence at noon.
