Little Rock Women's Basketball hopes to carry momentum from its season-opening win into Monday's game – a non-conference matchup with the Arkansas Razorbacks – scheduled for 7 pm at the Jack Stephens Center. The game is available for live streaming on ESPN+ and can also be heard on Sports Animal 920 AM. Little Rock (1-0) opened the new season with a 88-45 tout of Central Baptist, while the Razorbacks (1-1) were able to bounce back from a loss in their opener by beating East Texas A&M (formerly Texas A&M-Commerce) on Saturday.

Sug Williams were back doing what they do best during the win over CBC, as Lee led all scorers with 20 points and Williams making significant contributions across the stat sheet. Lee made 10-of-16 shots from the field and added four steals and two rebounds. Williams had eight points, eight rebounds, and three assists.

Ashley Lester all came up big in their debuts for Little Rock. Burk came off the bench to pump in 14 points, grab six rebounds and dish a pair of assists. Parker had nine points and three rebounds, and Lester finished with a dozen points.

Little Rock is 0-6 all time against Arkansas, including last season's 77-36 loss in Fayetteville. The Trojans are 0-3 at home, 0-2 on the road, and 0-1 on neutral ground against the Razorbacks. This is the sixth consecutive year the two schools will meet.

The Hogs opened the season with a pair of home games, dropping the first to Fairfield (81-67) and winning the most recent against East Texas A&M (84-65). Izzy Higginbotham (20.5) and Kiki Smith (18.0) are pacing the team in scoring, while Jenna Lawrence (10.0), Vera Ojenuwa (6.0) and Karley Johnson (6.0) are the top rebounders.
