Little Rock turns its focus to the second of three consecutive road opponents, heading to Manhattan, Kansas to face 10
th-ranked Kansas State on Monday at Bramlage Arena. The Trojans (1-2) will look to snap a two-game slide against the Wildcats (3-0) in a contest scheduled to tip off at 6:30 pm. The game is available for live streaming on ESPN+ and can also be heard on Sports Animal 920 AM.

LAST TIME OUT
Little Rock scrapped with Auburn on Thursday night, trailing by just six points at halftime before falling 82-48 to the 3-0 Tigers.
Faith Lee led the Trojans with 10 points,
Alaina Payne came off the bench to add nine points and three rebounds,
Sug Williams had eight points and three rebounds, and
Jayla Brooks tossed in seven points while swiping five steals.

PICKING UP THE PACE
Through three games, Little Rock is putting up an average of 66.3 field goal attempts per contest in
Steve Wiedower's uptempo offensive philosophy. To put it in perspective, the Trojans averaged just 53.3 attempts last season, a dozen less than Little Rock is taking this year. Last season the Trojans scored 55.6 points per game, but the increase in shots is paying off as Little Rock is scoring at a rate of 65.3 per game this season – 10 points better than the previous campaign.

SERIES HISTORY
Kansas State owns a 4-1 lead in the all-time series and has won each of the last four meetings dating back to 2007. The teams met last year in Little Rock with the visiting Wildcats winning by a 77-39 score. The Trojans have split two prior meetings in Manhattan, winning the first meeting way back in 1987 and losing in a 2017 contest. Lee (15 points) and
Jordan Holman (13 points) led the Trojans against Kansas State last season.

The Wildcats are ranked #10 in the nation in the latest Associated Press poll, having won three games this season by an average of 30 points. Led by 4-time First Team All-Big 12 and All-American Ayoka Lee, the Wildcats play their fourth of five straight at home to start the season. Lee holds the NCAA Division I record for points in a single game, scoring 61 against Oklahoma on Jan. 23, 2021. Last season, she scored 32 points and grabbed 10 rebounds against Little Rock.
