MANHATTAN, Kansas — Despite some early success during Monday's nonconference game against the 10
th-ranked Kansas State Wildcats, Little Rock was unable to keep the momentum, falling 73-43 at Bramlage Coliseum. The Trojans fell to 1-3 and will wrap up a string of three straight road games Friday afternoon at Missouri. Kansas state improved to 4-0.

Sug Williams paced the Trojans with 10 points to go with six rebounds,
Jordan Holman finished with eight points, nine rebounds and two blocks, while
Faith Lee tossed in seven points.
Jayla Brooks had five points, three steals, three assists and three rebounds, while
Brenna Burk came off the bench to score eight points with two rebounds in just 15 minutes.

Little Rock trailed by just six midway through the first period, then trimmed the KSU lead to 12-11 on a triple from Brooks, during a stretch in which the Trojan defense held the Wildcats scoreless for more than three minutes. Brooks capped off a 7-0 run with a pair of free throws to put Little Rock ahead 13-12, the Trojans' only lead of the night. KSU closed the period with an 11-0 run to take a 23-13 lead after 10 minutes.

Williams canned a jumper early in the second and converted a free throw to put the Trojans back within single digits at 25-16, but Little Rock was unable to get any closer for the remainder of the evening, falling behind by 18 at halftime.

Friday's game in Columbia, Mo. tips off at 11:30 am, then Little Rock returns home for a pair of games at the Jack Stephens Center – Tuesday, Nov. 26 against Murray State, and Tuesday, Dec. 3 against Arkansas State.
