After a win at home Thursday against Morehead State, the Little Rock women's basketball team has a showdown with a tough Southern Indiana team Sunday afternoon.

The Trojans (6-8, 4-1) play host to USI (12-4, 4-1) at 1 p.m., Sunday at the Jack Stephens Center with the teams in a three-way tie for second place in the Ohio Valley Conference standings with Lindenwood.

Little Rock used a second-half push to take control in a 69-59 win over Morehead State Thursday afternoon at the Jack Stephens Center. Senior forward
Jordan Holman scored a season-high 20 points with seven rebounds.
Faith Lee helped carry the load with 17 points, while
Sug Williams pitched in 15 points, 4 rebounds, and 6 assists. The Trojans biggest lead was 13 points, thanks to a turnaround jumper by
Emerald Parker and a three-pointer by
Brenna Burk. The Trojans ended on top, with a final score of 69-59.
HIT MAN HOLMAN
Jordan Holman has had an incredible OVC play effort, having scored double-figures in all conference matchups so far. Holman had a strong outing in the win over Morehead State with a season-high 20 points and 7 rebounds. She averages 11.4 points per game in 31.5 minutes. Holman shot nearly 43% from the three Thursday, pushing the Trojans to a win.

FIRST LOOK: SOUTHERN INDIANA
Efficient three-point shooting has been a key for Southern Indiana this season. The Screaming Eagles shoot just over 38 percent - USI ranks first in the OVC and in the top 15 nationally in three-point percentage. Vanessa Shafford leads the team shooting 43% from beyond the arc.

USI also ranks well atop the OVC in several defensive categories, including scoring defense (59.7), field-goal percentage defense (35.1), and defensive rebounds per game (28.3).Â

USI dominated SEMO in its matchup Thursday, 93-69. Meredith Raley had a career-high 29 points. USI shot 63% from the field and shot 45% from the three-point line.
