FAYETTEVILLE, Arkansas — The Little Rock Indoor Track & Field teams broke two school records, recorded six Top 5 finishes, earned three medals and set a total of 27 personal bests Friday during the Arkansas Invitational at the Randal Tyson Track Center.

NEW SCHOOL RECORDS
Andrew Payton broke his own school record in the men's 1-mile with a time of 4:03.84, besting his previous mark of 4:05.73.
Brooklyn Marcee also broke her own program best in the women's pole vault, clearing 12' 9.5". The previous record was 12' 6.75".

ON THE PODIUM
Gabriel Torres matched his personal best of 6.71 seconds in the 60 meters to take a silver medal. Meanwhile,
Alexia Washington reached 40' 7.75" for a silver medal in the women's triple jump, while
Layloni Watson won bronze with a jump of 39' 5.75".

TOP-5 FINISHES
In addition to the three medalists,
Braeden Bell was fifth in the men's 60 meters (6.77 seconds),
Cameron Jackson finished fourth in the men's 200 meters (21.37 seconds), and
Deshawn Roberts finished fifth in the men's high jump (6' 7.5").

PERSONAL BESTS
A total of 22 Trojans combined to set 27 new personal bests on Friday.
Preston Fuller completed the trifecta, establishing new PRs in three events – 60 meters, pole vault, and shot put.
Joel Allen,
Amarion Pulliaum, and
Carolin Bielert each set a pair of new PRs. Allen made his marks in the 800 meters and 1-mile run, Pulliaum made his in the 200 meters and triple jump, while Bielert set new PRs in the 60-meter hurdles and long jump.
