After overcoming foul trouble and a slow start, the Little Rock women's basketball team secured a 65-60 victory at Western Illinois Thursday. The Trojans (9-9, 7-2) now head to St. Charles, Missouri to face Lindenwood (11-7, 7-2) to try to win their second straight road game and three of their past four.

FOUR-WAY TIE
After a win Thursday at Western Illinois, the Trojans are in a tight race in the OVC standings. There are four teams with a 7-2 conference record fighting for second place. Those teams include Little Rock, Southern Indiana, Tennessee Tech and Lindenwood. With a win at Lindenwood, the Trojans could separate themselves from the other teams and secure second place.

In Thursday's win over Western Illinois,
Jordan Holman picked so many pockets, she broke a school record. Holman snagged nine steals, breaking Little Rock's single-game record. Holman, who has 41 steals this season, has 56 career steals.

Junior forward
Faith Lee has had a phenomenal scoring season, and she's about to set a personal achievement. Lee is only two points away from 1,000 career points after an 11-point scoring effort Thursday. This season, Lee leads the Trojans with 296 points. In her sophomore stint, Lee scored 435 points and 267 in her debut season with Little Rock.

Little Rock leads the series against Lindenwood, 3-1. The Trojans' only loss to the Lions came last year in St. Charles – a 61-54 defeat. The two teams' history dates back to just two seasons ago, as Lindenwood officially moved up to Division I.Â
