Trojans head to Southern Indiana to wrap up first half of OVC schedule

Little Rock's first-place volleyball team heads to the Hoosier State this weekend for an Ohio Valley Conference set against Southern Indiana, with matches scheduled for 6:00 pm Friday and 2:00 pm Saturday inside Liberty Arena in Evansville, Ind. Both matches are available for streaming on ESPN+.

• Little Rock is off to its best start in conference play since the 2014 season. The Trojans are 6-0 in the OVC, which is also the longest conference winning streak since 2014, when Little Rock finished 20-0 in the Sun Belt Conference.
• Junior outside hitter Bella Cherry passed the 750-kill mark for her career during Friday's win over SIUE. She currently has 770 career kills and is just 219 short of taking over the #10 spot in program history.
• A'lanae Margaritha is on pace to have one of the most efficient seasons the program has seen for hitting percentage. Currently at .355, which ranks as the 4th-best single-season mark in program history. She is the all-time program leader for career hitting percentage at .331.
• Senior middle blocker Jaycee Kennedy totaled 18 blocks during the two wins at SIUE last weekend, including 11 on Saturday, setting a new individual single-match high. Kennedy is 47 blocks shy of #10 all-time in the program record book and is second in the OVC with 71 blocks this season.
• Andrea Roman is hunting down the top spot in program history for career digs, currently ranking 4th with 1282. She is just 343 digs shy of taking over the top spot. Roman currently ranks 8th nationally in digs per set and 13th in total digs.
• Little Rock ranks among the top teams in the OVC in several categories, including opponents' hitting percentage (1st), team digs (4th), team kills (3rd), team assists (3rd), and team blocks (5th). Roman is the OVC individual leader in digs per set and total digs, while Margaritha is the OVC leader in hitting percentage. The Trojans rank 27th nationally in opponents' hitting percentage.
