JONESBORO, Ark. – After more than a week off, the Little Rock women's basketball team will meet a longtime rival Saturday. The Trojans (1-1) make the two-hour trip to Jonesboro to face the Red Wolves (1-2), their in-state nemesis and former Sun Belt Conference foe. Tip time is set for 4 p.m.
Little Rock fell to Memphis at home, 64-62, and the Red Wolves are coming off a 97-75 setback against Missouri on Tuesday.

- Little Rock's Jordan Holman was named the first OVC Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the season this week. The senior from Hugo, Okla., averaged more than 21 points in a win over Arkansas Baptist and a loss to Memphis.
- The Trojans will make the two-hour bus trip to Jonesboro on Saturday.
- Junior transfer Mya Cotto is averaging 11.5 points and 4 rebounds on the young season.
- Alaina Payne is seeing her role increase this season in her second year. In two games she has doubled her average minutes per game from last season at 27.5.
SCOUTING THE RED WOLVES
- ASU Head Coach Destinee Rogers, a Strong, Ark., native and former Central Arkansas star, is in her fourth season at ASU. Her Red Wolves team, which finished 21-11, earned the school's first NCAA Tournament berth last season despite being picked No.13 in the Sun Belt preseason poll. The Red Wolves also rattled off 13 straight wins.
- Senior Zyion Shannon leads the team in scoring with 17 points per game. The Tennessee native transferred to ASU from Ohio Valley Conference member Tennessee State after two seasons. She was a second-team All-Sun Belt selection in her first season at ASU.
- Junior guard Crislyn Rose is another key returner. The Texas native is averaging just over 16 points per game and was a third-team All-Sun Belt selection as a sophomore.
- Red Wolves senior Wynter Rogers is Destinee Rogers' sister. Both sisters played for their father Ronald Rogers. The elder sister played for him at Strong and Wynter played for him at Little Rock Christian. Wynter originally signed with West Virginia before transferring. She is averaging 6 points per game so far this season.
