CHARLESTON, Ill. — Eight teams will take the court Sunday at Gardella Family Court on the campus of Eastern Illinois University for the 2025 Ohio Valley Conference Volleyball Championships, with No. 5 Little Rock competing in the final match of the evening against No. 4 Southeast Missouri at 7:00 pm.

The tournament consists of three days of competition, with four first-round matchups on Sunday, two semifinals on Monday, and the championship game on Tuesday. All matches will be carried on ESPN+. Little Rock (16-14) would face the winner of host Eastern Illinois and Lindenwood if it gets by SEMO (20-12) in the opening round.

"It's a very competitive field … I think any of the top six teams have a legitimate shot at winning the whole thing," head coach Van Compton said. "I like our chances if we bring the energy and play our game. We have the team to do it."

Of the eight-team tournament field, six teams won at least 11 conference games, with EIU and Morehead State sharing the regular season title at 15-3, Southern Indiana third at 14-4, SEMO fourth (12-6), and both Little Rock and Tennessee Tech finishing OVC play at 11-7. SIUE and Lindenwood (both 7-11) round out the field.

Little Rock opened conference play back in September with a 3-2 win over SEMO, which enters the tournament on an eight-game win streak.
