LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – After opening the season with a dominant victory over Central Baptist College, the Little Rock women's basketball team looks to build on that momentum Friday night when it hosts Memphis at the Jack Stephens Center. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m., with the game streaming live on ESPN+.

Jordan Holman led the Trojans with 24 points, adding 8 rebounds, 5 steals, 2 blocks, and 3 assists in an all-around performance.

SCOUTING THE TIGERS
· Memphis is led by head coach Alex Simmons, a former Tennessee standout under Hall of Fame coach Pat Summitt, where she won two national championships (2007, 2008).
· The Tigers enter the matchup on a six-game losing streak dating back to last season after falling to Arkansas-Pine Bluff, 69-64, in their opener Monday night.
· Memphis finished 7-23 last season.
The roster features only one returning player, sophomore guard Tamyah Smith. Most of the roster consists of transfers, with just two true freshmen.
Daejah Richmond, a junior guard from Cordova, Tenn., transferred from Little Rock's OVC foe UT Martin after averaging 8.9 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 2.5 assists last season.
Amauri Williams, a former North Little Rock High School standout and four-star recruit, is playing her final collegiate season close to home after stints at Vanderbilt and Prairie View A&M, where she averaged 8.2 points and 2.3 rebounds.
