Trojans wrap up Louisiana road trip today versus ULM

Little Rock concludes its Louisiana road trip today with a late-afternoon contest against Louisiana-Monroe. First pitch for the Trojans (3-3) and Warhawks (4-2) from Lou St. Amant Field in Monroe is slated for 4 pm. There is no live stream of the contest but you can listen to the game online at KMLB.com.

The Trojans are looking to bounce back from an 0-3 trip to Thibodaux, La. last weekend, where host Nicholls State swept all three games. Little Rock dropped the opener Friday, 7-6, then fell on the wrong side of the score during both games of Saturday's doubleheader, 4-1 and 8-6.

The Warhawks have yet to play away from home this season, winning two of three against Eastern Illinois, besting Grambling in a run-rule win, and splitting two against Houston Christian over the weekend. The final game of the series was canceled due to weather.

Today's game is the 93rd meeting between the two schools, with ULM holding a 50-42 edge in the series. Little Rock is just 14-38 in Monroe, but won last year's contest on the road, 4-2. The Trojans have won six of the last seven meetings between the teams.

Little Rock returns home for the next four games, hosting Memphis on Wednesday before a three-game weekend series against Murray State at Gary Hogan Field.
