Swimming and Diving Set to Compete in Iowa for Missouri Valley Conference Championships

WAUKEE, IA. - The Little Rock swimming and diving team has been putting in the work all season in preparation for this week's 2025 Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) Swimming and Diving Championships. The four-day meet kicks off tomorrow afternoon at the Waukee CSD Natatorium in Waukee, IA, where the Trojans will showcase their progress under second-year head coach Nathan Townsend.

"All season long, we've talked about speaking the same language and putting ourselves in the best position to succeed, no matter what. We've been able to do that the whole season, and this meet is just another opportunity to show everyone what the Trojans are made of. Today, as we warmed up in the pool, I could see the focus and determination in all of our athletes—everyone looked sharp and ready to go. I'm excited to see everything we've worked for pay off this weekend!"- said Head Coach Nathan Townsend.

All information from the Missouri Valley Conference will be posted here.
 
The Trojans are projected to finish fourth in the MVC Championships with 45 points, just ahead of the University of Northern Iowa, who trail by only two points. Despite the close competition, the Trojans are ready to battle and earn their place.
