OVC awards Academic Medal of Honor to 19 Trojans

LITTLE ROCK – The Ohio Valley Conference announced today that 19 student-athletes from Little Rock have earned the OVC Academic Medal of Honor for the 2024-25 academic year. The award is given annually to student-athletes achieving the highest grade point average in a conference-sponsored sport. All of the 19 recipients from Little Rock carried a perfect 4.0 GPA.
 
The list of Little Rock student-athletes spans across eight different sports and includes one winner in multiple sports. Jordan Smith received the honor for Men's Cross Country and Men's Track & Field.
 
Little Rock Soccer had a total of six recipients, Women's Golf finished with four and Women's Track and Field had three. Baseball and Volleyball each had multiple award winners. The complete release from the OVC can be found HERE.
