TROJAN REPORT

Little Rock opens OVC play against the reigning conference champions in what also serves as the Trojans' 2025 home opener. Little Rock had its best weekend of the season in Tulsa on Sept. 19-20, taking two of three matches during the Tulsa Invitational. The Trojans beat New Mexico State and Oral Roberts before falling to host Tulsa in straight sets, despite being outscored by just seven total points.

Bella Cherry (34 kills, 37 digs, 7 blocks) and Crismeyli Rodriguez (37 kills, 35 digs, 5 blocks) were chosen for the All-Tournament team in Tulsa. Rodriguez established a new personal single-game high with 20 kills vs New Mexico State, hitting .409 in the match (20k-2e-44a). Andrea Roman picked up her second OVC Defensive Player of the Week award earlier this week. Roman ranks 22nd nationally in digs per set (4.87) and 24th in total digs (219).
