Trojans taking momentum to Tennessee for getaway match with UT Martin

Little Rock looks to carry the momentum from its win over defending champion SEMO on the road for a getaway match Tuesday evening at UT Martin. The Ohio Valley Conference contest is slated for 6:00 pm at Skyhawk Fieldhouse in Martin, Tenn., and will be available on ESPN+.

TROJAN REPORT
The Trojans opened OVC play last weekend, rallying past SEMO for a 3-2 victory at home and snapping a four-game losing streak against the Redhawks. Andrea Roman posted a career-high 37 digs, and Vivian Lucumi set a new career-best mark with 18 kills while hitting .417 for the match. Roman picked up her third OVC Defensive Player of the Week award on Monday, and second in a row this season.
 
Four Trojans – Crismeyli Rodriguez (19), Lucumi (18), Bella Cherry (11), and A'lanae Margaritha (10) – had at least 10 kills against SEMO, Kaylee Smith finished with 28 assists, and Dariana Valencia added 26 to go with 16 digs. Cherry also finished with 25 digs, while Kennedy led the team with six blocks. Roman moved up on the program's all-time list for career digs, from sixth to fourth. The Trojans' 211 attacks, 67 assists, and 110 digs on Saturday are all season-highs.
