Red-Hot Trojan Women Wrap up Road Trip at Lindenwood Saturday

Little Rock has won four straight games

ST. CHARLES, Mo. – The Ohio Valley Conference's hottest team hits the road again Saturday as Little Rock looks to extend its winning streak to five games in a key league matchup at Lindenwood. Tip-off is set for 1 p.m. at Hyland Arena.

The Trojans enter the weekend tied for first place in the OVC at 4–1, alongside Western Illinois and Southern Indiana. Lindenwood sits just one game back at 3–2, part of a four-team logjam in the conference standings.

TROJAN TIDBITS
• Little Rock won three straight OVC games last season. The 2022–23 Trojans won 12 straight games on their way to a 17–1 league mark.
Jordan Holman scored 17 points and added three blocks in the 48–45 win against SIUE on Thursday night. Holman also hit two big shots in the final 1:25 to regain the lead for the Trojans and help secure the win.
Mya Cotto was the only other Trojan in double figures with 10 points. She hit all four of her free throws.
• The lead changed five times in the win.
• Next week, the Trojans host Eastern Illinois at 5 p.m. on Thursday and Western Illinois at 1 p.m. on Saturday.

SCOUTING THE LIONS
• Lindenwood advanced to the OVC title game last season, and head coach Amy Eagan earned Coach of the Year honors. The Lions made the third-biggest turnaround in Division I last year, finishing 23–11 overall and 16–4 in OVC play.
• The Lions have three players among the top 10 scoring leaders in the OVC: Ellie Bruegermann (13.8), Brooke Coffey (13.6), and Aleshia Jones (12.6).
• Bruegermann scored her 1,000th career point in a win against SIUE on Tuesday night. The junior scored 19 points in the 84–65 victory.
• Coffey scored a career-high 29 points in the win, shooting 12-of-15 from the field.
