Trojan Women Hope to Begin Home Stand on Winning Note

Little Rock plays host to UT Martin Thursday at 5 p.m.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Little Rock women's basketball team enters the final stretch of the regular season with a prime opportunity to climb the Ohio Valley Conference standings.
That four-game homestand begins Thursday night when the Trojans host UT Martin at 5 p.m. at the Jack Stephens Center.

Little Rock (13-13, 9-7 OVC) currently sits in fifth place in the conference standings, just ahead of the Skyhawks (13-13, 9-8 OVC), who enter the matchup in sixth place. With only a handful of games remaining before the OVC Tournament, every contest carries significant postseason implications.

The Trojans will look to take advantage of playing their final four regular-season games at home, where they have been strong throughout conference play. A win Thursday would not only strengthen their position in the standings but also provide valuable separation from UT Martin in the tightly contested middle of the league race.

Little Rock wraps up the weekend Saturday against Southeast Missouri, which enters the week in ninth place at 5-12 in OVC play.

With seeding on the line and momentum at stake, the Trojans begin a critical stretch run in front of their home crowd Thursday night.
