Coach's Perspective
Head coach
Chris Curry emphasized key areas of focus entering the weekend:
"We need to continue to get better with runners in scoring position, and we've worked on that in practice. We're still letting teams create via the walk and hit by pitch, so we need to eliminate those, especially out of the bullpen.
Our baserunning was better, but our catchers need to throw better. Teams are 19-for-19 running against us so far. Teams are going to exploit that."
Scouting the Wolves (1–4)
West Georgia enters the weekend looking to find consistency.
"They don't make a lot of errors, but they don't really have one guy that stands out," Curry said. "They need some things to happen to help them along. They're flipping their weekend rotation, trying to find some answers."
