COACH SPEAK
"It is always good to end the regular season at home. We are expecting great crowds with Homecoming, and that always gives our players extra energy. We are focused on building momentum heading into the conference tournament next week."

Steve Wiedower, Little Rock Head Coach
TROJAN TIDBITS
• For the second straight season,
Jordan Holman drilled a half-court buzzer-beater against SEMO. Her latest came Saturday at the Jack Stephens Center, when she launched the ball well behind midcourt as time expired in the first half — using her right hand, her off hand — and buried the shot. Last season at SEMO, Holman hit a similar buzzer-beater after dribbling across half court and knocking down the long jumper with her natural left hand.
•
Destinee Salgado set season highs with eight free-throw attempts and five made free throws in Saturday's game, finishing with 12 points and a team-high eight rebounds.
• Little Rock opened conference play with a 76-63 road victory at Morehead State. Holman led the Trojans with 25 points, while
Brenna Burk added a career-high 21 points, knocking down a career-best five three-pointers.
• The Trojans enter the final weekend of the regular season in fifth place in the OVC standings, one game ahead of UT Martin. Little Rock owns the head-to-head tiebreaker after sweeping the Skyhawks this season. UT Martin closes the regular season at home against Tennessee Tech and Tennessee State.
SCOUTING THE EAGLES
• Thursday's matchup marks the regular-season finale for Morehead State.
• The Eagles have already secured no worse than a fourth-place finish in the OVC standings after defeating Southern Indiana. A win would clinch third place, while a loss combined with a Southern Indiana win Saturday could drop Morehead State to fourth.
•
Kate Dike, a 6-foot-3 post player from Ukraine, leads the Eagles with 14.4 points and 7.1 rebounds per game.
• Morehead State leads the OVC in conference play with 10 steals per game, highlighting its defensive pressure.
• The Eagles have attempted 768 three-pointers this season — 25.6 per game — the most in the OVC and among the top 30 nationally in attempts per game.
•
Laura Toffali recorded five steals Tuesday against Southern Indiana, raising her season total to 89 — the second-highest single-season mark in program history.
