Trojan Women Looking to Ride Momentum from Road Win Against Lindenwood

Little Rock takes on Lindenwood at 5 p.m. Thursday night at the Jack Stephens Center

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – After a big road win at UT Martin Tuesday night, the Trojan women's basketball team begins a two-game homestand. The Trojans (11-11, 7-5) meet Lindenwood (17-7, 9-4) at 5 p.m. Thursday at the Jack Stephens Center. The men's game will follow. 

Little Rock knocked off the Skyhawks 68-53 Tuesday night in a makeup game. Lindenwood beat SIUE 82-69 Tuesday.

TROJAN TIDBITS
• Brenna Burk tied a career high with five three-pointers in Tuesday night's win at UT Martin, matching the mark she set in the season opener at Morehead State. Notably, both performances came on the road. Burk finished with a team-high 17 points on 6-of-9 shooting, added three rebounds and three assists, and scored her lone two-point basket on a driving layup off the glass.
• Jordan Holman continued to show why she is one of the OVC's top all-around players, recording 16 points, nine rebounds and a season-high six assists against UT Martin.
• Little Rock held former Melbourne High School standout Kenley McCarn to just eight points. McCarn entered the game ranked fourth in the OVC in scoring at 16.1 points per game.
• The Trojans limited UT Martin to 33 percent shooting from the field.
• Little Rock is tied for fifth place in the OVC standings with UT Martin.
 
SCOUTING THE LIONS
• Lindenwood has won four of its last five games entering Thursday's matchup.
• The Lions' loss to Morehead State last Saturday was their second of the season against the Eagles, who are tied for second in the OVC. Lindenwood currently sits in fourth place in the league standings.
• Lindenwood is 7-4 overall on the road and 4-2 in OVC play away from home.
• The Lions rank second in the OVC in scoring, averaging 78.5 points per game.
• Ellie Bruegermann ranks eighth in the league in scoring at 14.0 points per game, while Brooke Coffey is 10th at 13.7 points per game.
