LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Fresh off a strong weekend, the Little Rock track and field team is back in action with no time to slow down, heading to Fayetteville on Saturday for the Woo Pig Classic at the Randal Tyson Track Center.
Little Rock looks to continue its recent momentum and push further into the record books while competing against elite programs. The Trojans will be led by Ohio Valley Conference Freshman of the Week honorees
Colter Maya and
Jordan Morgan, who both delivered standout performances at the Washburn Open.

Little Rock at the Woo Pig Classic
The Trojans have competed in Fayetteville at least once each season over the past five years, as Arkansas regularly hosts multiple indoor meets at the Randal Tyson Track Center.
Last season's highlights included
Aaliyah Mathis earning a third-place finish in the shot put and
Gabriel Torres placing second in the 60 meters. Little Rock also advanced multiple athletes to event finals, proving its ability to compete with some of the nation's top programs.
This weekend's field features strong competition, including host Arkansas, Notre Dame, and several formidable Sun Belt programs from Louisiana.

"We are excited to compete in Arkansas and against one of the top programs in the country," said head coach
J.P. Behnke. "The focus this week is improving on last weekend's performances. We learned a lot about ourselves, and I believe everyone has areas within their events where they can continue to grow."
