Jocelyn Love joined the UALR women’s basketball staff in July of 2008 after a stint as a coach at Pulaski Academy in Little Rock, Ark.

Love has helped lead the Trojans to four-straight Sun Belt West Division titles, four-straight post-season appearances, and the team’s first-ever Sun Belt Conference Tournament title in 2011.
Love served as the head coach for the seventh grade girls basketball team as well as assistant coach for the junior high and senior high teams at Pulaski Academy. Love graduated Magna Cum Laude from UALR in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education.

Love, a native of West Memphis, Ark., competed for the Trojans from 2003-2007 where she earned All-Sun Belt Conference honors twice and became the all-time leading scorer with 1,495 points.  Love also earned ESPN the Magazine first team Academic All-District and Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week honors.

Love ended her career holding ten UALR career records, more than any male of female basketball player at UALR, and is listed in 17 career categories. 

Prior to her college playing career, Love was an all-state, Crittenden County Player of the Year, and 5A-East Conference Player of the Year at West Memphis High School her senior season.  She all earned all-conference honors her junior and sophomore years.  As a senior, Love led her team to the state title as well as earning the tournament’s Most Valuable Player honors.
