Steve Wiedower

Coach Wiedower takes the reigns of the Women’s Basketball program for the 2024-25 season following 15 seasons as the top assistant under Joe Foley.

Wiedower attended Oklahoma City University and Arkansas State University, where he was All-Southland Conference as a senior. After six seasons in Little Rock, Wiedower took the head girls coach in Russellville, where he coached his two youngest daughters to a state title game appearance in 2012. He also posted a 229-111 record at Greenbrier High School, his alma mater.

He obtained his bachelor’s degree from ASU and his master’s from the University of Central Arkansas. Steve and his wife, Denise, have three daughters – Brittney, Kaylee, and Kenzie.
