Former Trojan guard Sharde' Collins was named the program's new director of basketball operations in July 2017.
 
Collins, the 2017 Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year, graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in May with a degree in Sociology.

Collins finished her Trojan career in March with one of the greatest scoring seasons in team history. An All-Sun Belt Second Team honoree in the preseason, Collins averaged 15.3 points per game in 2016-17 and 17.4 points per game in conference games to earn All-Sun Belt First Team postseason honors and the league's Player of the Year Award.
 
Collins also helped lead Little Rock to the league's regular-season title and got a spot on the conference's All-Tournament Team for the second consecutive season.
