LITTLE ROCK, Ark.—
Arkansas Little Rock's volleyball team pushed Middle Tennessee to four games but lost 30-22, 28-30, 30-21, 30-25 Sunday at the Jack Stephens Center.  The Trojans committed nine service errors and eight reception errors.

“Middle Tennessee is one of the top teams in league,” said head coach Van Compton.  “I forgot what a process it is to put a team back together.  Ana (Carolina Buccini) just got back.   Everything is a process, and we will just have to go through it.”

Ana Carolina Buccini recorded her seventh double-double with 10 kills and a team high 17 digs.

Ivanka Davidova led the team in kills with 16, while Larisa Durmisevic contributed 14.

Trojans started out with the lead in every game but game three when Middle Tennessee took the 6-0 advantage.

In game one, Middle Tennessee came back from a four point deficit early on to tie the game twice before taking the lead and the game.

The Trojans hit .235 in their second game win with Amila Baracovic hitting five kills and Ivanka Davidova knocked down four.

The Blue Raiders capitalized on key UALR errors in the third and fourth games while hitting .333 and .311.

Arkansas-Little Rock continues conference action at the Jack Stephens Center on Tuesday against Arkansas State.  Match begins at 7 p.m.
