ARLINGTON, Texas—Arkansas-Little Rock's volleyball team pushed Wake Forest to five games
(26-30, 30-21, 30-17, 26-30, 10-15) but fell short at the end losing their
first match Friday at the University of Texas at Arlington Invitational.
Ana Carolina
Buccini recorded her third double-double of the season with a team high 14
kills and 16 digs, while Larisa Durmisevic knocked down her fourth
double-digit kill game with 14.
Megan Naborowski
led the team with 22 digs, her third 20 plus dig game.
Wake
Forest (2-2) took the first game hitting .296 while knocking down 21 kills.
UALR (4-5) charged
back the next two games hitting 23 kills in the second and 16 in the
third.
Wake
Forest limited the Trojans to .095 hitting percentage in the fourth game and
-.053 in the fifth to take the win.
Arkansas-Little
Rock continues tournament action Saturday against Iowa at noon and host Texas-Arlington at 7
p.m.
