Box Score UALR Starts Tournament with Sweep

MEMPHIS, Tenn.?The University of Arkansas-Little Rock volleyball team opened tournament play Friday with a sweep of Arkansas-Pine Bluff (30-10, 30-10, 30-14) at the University of Memphis Invitational. The Trojans recorded their highest hitting percentage of the season with a .429 mark.

Larisa Durmisevic and Amila Baracovic led the team with eight kills a piece, while Tenesha Robinson hit a team high .583 on seven kills, 12 attacks, and no errors.
Ana Carolina Buccini contributed 13 digs for her third double-digit match.
UALR (2-3) capitalized on 18 UAPB (0-1) errors for the match and allowed only 15 kills limiting their opponents to a -.041 hitting percentage.
The Trojans knocked down 14 kills in the first game committing only one error for a .500 mark.
The team recorded 15 kills in the final game to seal the win.
Arkansas-Little Rock continues tournament play at 4:30 today against Tennessee-Martin.
