Isaac Lalang was the top Trojan finisher at the Chile Pepper Festival on Saturday morning in a highly competitive field that included Arkansas, Wichita State, Missouri, Texas Tech, Villanova, Boston College and North Texas, among others.

Lalang scored 55 points, crossing the finish line in 25:32.8 to lead the way for the Trojans. Kennedy Chumba was the next Trojan across the line, taking 66 points for Little Rock in a time of 25:51.33.

Imad Amenzou was next for Little Rock, earning the team 82 points with his finish of 26:14.91.
Emilio Medina was the fourth Trojan to finish, picking up 88 points in 26:20.17. Sophomore
Kenneth Broyles rounded out the Trojan scoring with 104 points in a time of 26:46.97.

Also competing for the Trojans on the day was freshman
Tyler Davis. He clocked in a time of 26:53.34.

The men came in 14th place overall with a team score of 395 points.

The Trojans have next weekend off before returning to action at the Little Rock Invitational on October 15 at the Rebsamen Golf Course.
