LITTLE ROCK – Fresh off a Sun Belt series win, Little Rock baseball (12-20, 5-7 Sun Belt) will wrap up its eight-game homestand against Stephen F. Austin (20-14, 9-3 Southland) at
Gary Hogan Field on Tuesday at 6 p.m.

Little Rock and SFA met earlier this season with Lumberjacks taking two out of three games in Nacogdoches, Texas. In a series that dates back to 1992, SFA owns the slight series lead at 11-10. A win on Tuesday night for Little Rock would be its first against SFA at home since 2013.

The Trojans will throw right-hander
Carter Brown (1-1) on Tuesday night. Brown's last start occurred last Tuesday against UAPB as he threw two innings, struck out two and allowed just two hits. His start against the Lumberjacks will be the fourth of the season and third in midweek competition.

SFA will start left-hander Erik Nouis (1-1) on Tuesday. Nouis has a 7.11 ERA in 25.1 innings of work and has an opposing batting average of .270. Nouis was the starter in Little Rock's 8-3 win over SFA back in March and went 2.1 innings while allowing two runs on two hits and four walks.
