LITTLE ROCK – A four-game home stand will get underway on Wednesday night as Little Rock baseball (14-22) and Louisiana Tech (23-13) face off in a midweek contest at 6 p.m., at Gary Hogan Field.

The Bulldogs took a 4-2 win against the Trojans back in February at Louisiana Tech. The last time Little Rock and Louisiana Tech met at Gary Hogan Field was last year as the Bulldogs earned a 7-4 win. The Trojans' last win against the Bulldogs came in 2014 at home as they came away with a 7-6 victory.

The Trojans will start freshman right-hander Carter Brown (2-1) on Wednesday night. Brown earned his second career win last Tuesday night at home against Stephen F. Austin. Louisiana Tech's starter will be announced at a later time due to the Bulldogs playing McNeese State on Tuesday night.

  • Little Rock's 70 doubles rank second in the Sun Belt and 50th nationally.
  • Coming into Wednesday's game, Zach Baker has made 90 consecutive starts.
  • Thomas is tied for the 10th-most doubles in program history with 32.
  • Owens is hitting .380 against non-conference opponents this season with 30 hits and 21 RBIs.
