LITTLE ROCK – Little Rock Director of Athletics
Chasse Conque announced Monday the hiring of
Courtney Scott as Little Rock's new Coordinator of Business Development for Little Rock Trojan Sports Properties.
Working under
Josh Hartman, Scott will be responsible for managing and tracking inventory for Little Rock Trojan Sports Properties, generating and submitting marketing contracts, fulfilling signage, print and digital ads and selling and renewing corporate sponsorships.
Scott has spent time working with the Washington Nationals of Major League Baseball, spending 18 months with the team in the promotions department. She organized and maintained promotional inventory, assisted with club-sponsored and off-site marketing as well as the Jr. Nationals Kids Club.
Before her time with the Nationals, Scott worked in event management at the University of Missouri. As a staffer with the Tigers, Scott assisted in planning and coordination of events at Mizzou Sports Park.
Scott has also spent time with the Kansas City T-Bones minor league baseball game. With the T-Bones, Scott developed marketing strategies and company branding, working with the production crew and assisted in community relations.
Scott earned her bachelor's degree in event and convention management with a minor in small business from Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri. She is currently obtaining her master's degree in sports industry management from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
